Meet Sarah, a radiant force in the world of wellness. As the co-founder of Studio Twenty-Two and Canadian Ambassador for FitYoga, Sarah is a dynamic force of energy, and true embodiment of living a life of balance and mindfulness. Sarah is passionate about sharing the transformative powers of yoga and fostering a community of supportive students. Sarah's journey to wellness began 18 years ago with her own personal struggles, including postpartum difficulties, and a trip to the Chopra Addictions and Wellness Center in 2015 which marked a pivotal moment that set her on a path towards wellness and the healing benefits of yoga. This sparked her to pursue further education, obtaining her 200 hr YTT in FitYoga, a 30-hour certificate in Gravity Yoga, and 20 hrs in Animal Flow. She's trained in Access Bars and has her Level 3 Reiki. Sarah has completed her 90 hour training in the Chopra Health Ayurveda Program, allowing her to offer personalized consultations to her students. As a mother of two, Sarah also recognizes the importance of instilling mindfulness and yoga in the next generation. She is a proud graduate of the Flow and Grow Kids Yoga Program and offers classes to children in public schools, as well as sports clubs and teen groups. Sarah is known for her warm and supportive nature, always offering a listening ear and sage advice. At Studio Twenty Two she creates a welcoming environment for her students to thrive in. Her contagious energy, adventurous spirit and zest for life keep her on the move and she loves to travel and experience new adventures. Sarah is a true student of life, never losing her hunger for learning and self-growth. She is always seeking to deepen her understanding of the mind, body, and spirit and travels to far-off destinations to broaden her perspective. When she's not on the move, Sarah spends her summers at her cottage on the lake and hosts wellness retreats, finding joy in helping others on their journey to self-discovery. Sarah also deeply enjoys family time at her cottage, adventuring in the woods, and taking in the breathtaking views at the waterfall in the back of her property. She loves to exercise, spend time outdoors, and is always up for trying something new. When she's not working, you can find her practicing yoga and mindfulness in everyday life, attending and cheering away at her sons' sporting events, and simply living her best life with her sweet boyfriend and two boys. Sarah is a true student of life, always eager to delve deeper into the mysteries of the mind, body, and spirit. Through her openness and vulnerability, Sarah continues to inspire others to live their best lives and tap into their infinite potential. Her love for learning, self-growth, and her warm and supportive nature make her a shining example of the profound impact that yoga can have on one's life.

Kristen Murphy
Kristen began yoga at a young age for the physical benefits relating to athletic performance. However, she quickly grew to love the practice for its overall health benefits including psychological wellness. This inspired Kristen to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training through the Yoga Barn and Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio in 2020. Kristen enjoys creative sequencing to stretch, strengthen, and restore the body. She brings together her high energy and love for stillness to create a practice to align both the mind and body. She also teaches Prenatal yoga as she loves helping soon to be moms with relief and support during their pregnancy. Outside of yoga, Kristen spends her time enjoying nature, exploring and hiking with her son and their dog. Kristen has recently completed her social work degree. She loves teaching yoga and she can't wait for you to join her for Power Flow.

Sarah Acker
Sarah has always had a passion for all things outdoors, engaging in activities like hiking, paddle boarding and biking to stay fit and feel good. She found fitness kickboxing in 2017, and it quickly became a new favourite. Kickboxing has not only built so much physical strength, but has also been vital in maintaining her mental wellbeing- after all, what’s better than literally kicking and punching after a bad day? She became a certified fitness kickboxing instructor in 2022, and lives to see her students have fun, gain confidence and push to be the fiercest versions of themselves. Outside of fitness, Sarah is a new sheep farmer and is currently happily busy learning the ropes in all things sheep and wool (taking frequent and cherished breaks at the beach).
